Beck and Tews have proposed a message falsification attack on WPA-TKIP in November 2008. Their attack (called the Beck-Tews attack) works for only a network that supports IEEE802.11e QoS features. We have proposed the man-in-the-middle attack in JWIS2009 and CSS2009 (the Ohigashi-Morii attack). Our attack can execute other products without IEEE802.11e QoS features. However the man-in-the-middle attack always had to intercept the communication of the access point and the terminal. It is not easy in a real environment. Then, we propose an executable attack in a real environment without requiring the man-in-the-middle attack. |
