As an interpersonal synchronization phenomenon during side-by-side walking, gait synchronization is a candite to reduce the gait asymmetry problem in daily life but has not been sufficiently studied. This paper investigates the influence of gait synchronization on gait asymmetry side-by-side by analyzing the stance phase parameter after comparing the gait asymmetry value and gait synchronization index in individual unilateral load conditions, asynchronization walking conditions, and synchronization walking conditions. As a result, human stance phase asymmetry can be reduced over time with the gait synchronized side-by-side walk. Also, greater synchronization levels reduced the gait asymmetry more efficiently. |
