We design a 4-bit irradiation time control circuit for superconductor microwave generator using SFQ circuits. We compared the characteristics of the 4-bit SFQ irradiation time control circuit and the 4-bit AQFP irradiation time control circuit. The proposed circuit area is 84.4% smaller than the AQFP circuit. Moreover, the proposed circuit can work at a higher frequency, at 50 GHz, which means higher precision irradiation time control can be performed than the AQFP circuit. SFQ circuits can accomplish higher precision irradiation time control with a smaller area but need more energy. |
