|
High saturation output power improvement of 15 dB compared to regular QD SOA was successfully confirmed under high operation temperature of 75℃, due to the larger active area of active-MMI which enables higher current injection (i.e., higher energy injection) into the device up to the ground-state saturation level in QD.
