Stress is one of the most prevalent phenomena affecting people’s health and well-being. Numerous studies have demonstrated the potential negative effect of chronic stress, ranging from metabolic syndrome to sleep problems to mental disorders. Previous studies also found that a significant behavioral consequence of stress is physical activity, but the relationship between the two can be individualistic. The objective of this study is to develop a self-tracking application that allows users to track perceived stress and physical activity and to explore the relationship between the two streams of data. |
