In industries, automation has huge impact on improving productivity and service quality which means that it contributes industries to overcome labor shortage, large amount of costs and other difficulties. But there are still a lot of sectors that automation is needed. One of them is data center and it is the core sector in IT industry. This paper presents the method and implementation of detecting position and state of the LED and extracting features from LED flickering data to develop automatic visual monitoring system for data center devices.
