|
During the disaster, Japanese people utilize social media to exchange useful information in real time. However, most information on social media during disasters does not help foreigners. Therefore, we have been working on developing a system which is useful for foreigners to obtain necessary information in real time during the disasters. We use Twitter to gather information to be provided by our system because Twitter is the most utilized social media in Japan. In this study, we propose a method to classify tweet data as a step of developing a disaster information providing system.
