RAN Slicing is a mandatory component of end-to-end networking and recently catches much attention both in academia and in industries. Radio resources represented as Resource Blocks may be isolated and allocated to UEs applications and services to enable resource isolation for achieving desired QoS in RAN. We also observe private mobile networking is proliferating. Although private networking is low-cost and flexibly empowered with innovative technologies, it has an inherent coverage problem that prevents it from scaling. In this paper, we extend our existing RAN slicing and private networking and propose the design of federated private RAN slicing. |
