The problem of scattering and absorption of terahertz waves from a periodic grating is numerically solved by the mode matching method based on minimizing the boundary error in the least squares sense. The grating is a two dimensionally corrugated graphene sheet, which is regarded as an impedance surface, and the generalized boundary conditions are applied over it. We focus on the plasmon resonance absorption phenomenon which occurs when the period and incident wavelength are comparable, and confirm that the near field intensity enhanced by the evanescent waves near the boundary. The analysis is done in a similar manner as the author's previous work which treated the corrugated noble metal film for light incidence. |
