抄録 |
In the paper the main assumptions and the general architecture of a simulator of multi-service networks with mutual and hierarchical overflows is presented. The simulator allows us to study also networks with threshold mechanisms. These mechanisms are used in teletraffic engineering to model the system in which, after exceeding a certain threshold of system utilization, the amount of resources allocated to the admitted traffic streams is limited. Along with a decrease in the volume of admitted resources, the service time is extended or the original time of service is kept. |
