|
We have proposed a random access protocol, success prioritized non-persistent carrier-sense multiple access (SP-NP-CSMA) with sleep function to gain the throughput and the energy efficiency for event-driven variable-length sensor data gathering. In this manuscript, we optimize the contention window (CW) to approximately maximize the throughput for SP-NP-CSMA with reservation (SP-NP-CSMA-R).
