In this paper, we analyze a large-scale wireless sensor network with uncertain wireless communication links and frame aggregation using fluid-flow approximation. In recent years, large-scale wireless sensor networks have attracted a lot of research interests because of miniaturization, cost reduction, reduction in power consumption of wireless sensor devices, and emergence of wireless sensor network applications such as IoT (Internet Of Things). However, for realization of an efficient and reliable large-scale wireless sensor network, design and control methodologies that can explicitly take account of uncertainty of large-scale wireless sensor networks are required. In this paper, we therefore model a large-scale wireless sensor network adopting IEEE 802.15.4 protocol with uncertain communication links and frame aggregation. |
