Generally, it will impact decoding efficiency in the communication owing to the designed structure of low-density parity-check matrix. And the existence of the girth will reduce the decoding performance. However, random structured matrix will be hard to avoid producing the girth. Since the smaller the girth the larger effect, it will hope that by the regular structure of the girth to construct check matrices in this paper. Also, we will filter the size of girth according to Euclidean Geometry LDPC code construction (EG-LDPC), and then transmit bits for decoding through an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel and find the relationship between the size of girth and the decoding efficiency. The judgment of the relationship is based on bit error ratio (BER) in simulated results. |
