In order to cope up with the increasing demand on bandwidth, the large capacity and also flexible orthogonal-frequency-division-multiplexing (OFDM) passive optical network (PON) and radio-over-fibre (RoF) are the promising technologies for future 5G mobile networks which will also jointly employ the massive multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO), and beamforming [1] technologies. However, co-channel interference [2] under beamforming resulting from the same frequency allocation on the same beam direction is still a prominent problem. In this paper, we propose a resource block (RB) allocation scheme to mitigate the interference under high user equipment (UE) mobility. |
