An adaptive modulation and coding (AMC) method for wireless local area networks (WLAN) in communication-based train control (CBTC) systems has been proposed. This paper analyzes the performance of the method assuming time selective fading in terms of outage probability, where the outage is defined as an event that some required packets are not successfully received within a control period. |
