In this paper we propose a tool to help network security analysist identifying and analyzing threats that arise from the operation of a computer network. There are many implemen- tations and proposals that leverage the power of heuristics for intrusion detection. However HELIOS leverages visualization to aid domain experts in their task to secure networks. Our Framework provides a broad deployment field ranging from real time analysis of streaming data to forensic contexts where an existing dataset needs to be analyzed. |
