Summary:
Tensor decompositions (TDs) and tensor networks (TNs) are emerging and promising tools for distributed representation of large-scale data, feature extraction and data mining. In this paper we review briefly multiway components analysis, that is multilinear (tensor) generalizations of two-way components analysis, especially, PCA/SVD, ICA, NMF, SCA, CCA/PLS. We will also discuss some challenging problems and future perspectives related to big data analysis.
