Summary:
This paper studies dynamics of 1-D maps with a trapping window. The window can change chaotic or quasi-periodic orbits of original 1-D maps into various superstable phenomena. Using some examples of piecewise linear systems, we analyze dynamics precisely. Application to A/D converters is also discussed.
