Summary:
A discrete finite time domain T-pulse is designed under the constraint of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) ultra-wideband (UWB) spectral mask. This pulse has a linear phase over the frequency band and is orthogonal to its shifted version. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate how these types of wideband orthogonal pulses can be transmitted and received with very little distortion.
