Summary:
In this paper, a genetic algorithm (GA) [3], which is effective for multivariate optimization, is introduced for determining the antenna arrangement in SR-MIMO transmission. We focus that the channel capacity of SR-MIMO can be deterministically determined by only propagation characteristics which is given by antenna arrangement and transmit distance between the transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) [2]. The effectiveness on SR-MIMO with the aid of GA is also demonstrated by using the computer simulation with a moment of method (MoM).
