Summary:
Because of the extensive use of wireless mobile phones and other telecommunication devices in daily life, we examined the effects of combined exposure of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) in various animal models of rat spermatogenesis model, long term exposure experiments in rats and lymphoma development in AKR mice. Animals were exposed to RF signals single code division multiple access (CDMA) and wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) signgnals and the RF exposure schedule consisted of 45 min/day, 5 days/week. The whole body average specific absorption rate (SAR) of CDMA or WCDMA was 2.0 W/kg each, 4.0 W/kg in total. In this presentation, we are going to show the results of these experiments and introduce our ongoing studies.
