Summary:
The Line integration of the Modified Edge Representation (MER) currents, around the Stationary Phase Point (SPP) gives the Scattering Geometrical Optics (SGO) [1]. This is not true for other types of Equivalent Edge Currents (EEC) than MER; the line integration along the infinitesimally small contour depends on the shape of the contour [2] and does not have a limiting value. In this article the line integration of various EECs around SPP on the curved surface is compared with SGO. Moreover the accuracy of surfaceto- line integral reduction is discussed. The two line integrations around SPP and the peripheral edge of the scatterer are summed up and are compared with the original Physical Optics (PO) surface integration
