Summary:
Next generation system of MIMO technology is required to construct the wireless communication infrastructure. Recently one approach is to use relay network [1]. The relaying system is divided into regenerative and nonregenerative system. The main difference between them is the state of noise. The behaviour of regenerative relaying system is removing noise from the receiving signal and decode. In contrast, nonregenerative relaying system does not remove the noise, and the main is only weighting or amplifying. Therefore, the cost of nonregenerative relaying system is lower than that of regenerative relaying system. In this paper, we propose a novel nonregenerative 2×2 MIMO relaying system with phase control. In this scheme, the proposed system enhances depleted eigenpath by using only phase control in the relay terminal based on channel state information (CSI). We also apply this method to EigenbeamSpace Division Multiplexing (E-SDM) [2], and indicate the effectiveness of the new method through computer simulation for an outdoor scenario.
