Summary:
FDTD method using the difference scheme of Maxwell′s equation calculates a propagation of electro-magnetic field in computational space with time. However, it is difficult to apply to EMC analysis such as the model which small-scale objects include, because the calculation amount becomes large-scale. To solve this problem, non-uniform mesh technique was reported. This method is dividing the region of small-scale structure finely and dividing coarsely the other region. We built a program of the FDTD method including non-uniform mesh algorithms, and used it to a calculation of EMC problem such as shielding effectiveness of metal board.
