Summary:
A conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulation for a pipelined microcontroller conducted EMI simulator is proposed. The simulator can co-operate with instruction current model to estimate the conducted electromagnetic emission (EME) of a pipelined microcontroller. The experiment result shows the proposed techniques is capable of estimation the software conducted EMI of a pipelined microcontroller up to 40 MHz. More accurate PCB and package models may increase the bandwidth and is going to further investigate.
