Summary:
This paper describes the overall threat of Intentional Electromagnetic Interference (IEMI) and the methods that may be used to protect commercial buildings from these intense electromagnetic disturbances. The standards developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) are used as a basis for the protection approach.
