Summary:
As one of the important tasks in the next generation Free Electron Laser (FEL), the Pure-type High-Tc Superconductor (HTS) undulator has been developed. We have been developing a numerical simulation code based on the T-method for assisting design of the appropriate magnet alignment before the HTS magnetization. This paper presents the design for uniform distribution of sinusoidal vertical magnetic field component which is needed for stable FEL operation.
