Summary:
Space-time theory of epidemics involves spatial di?usion and temporal-infectious e?ects. The lecture will cover some fractal aspects of such models. In particular, a surviving set in the plane at the in?nite-time asymptote tends to have fractal dimension less than two. Connections between such observations and the e?ciency of vaccination strategy will be described.
