Summary:
This paper describes a model for the calculation of the power density spectrum (PDS) of chaotically clocked continuous-discrete systems. A chaotic clocking scheme is shown which generates a smooth PDS . The systems behaviour is modelled by means of a filtered impulse process. The autocorrelation function (ACF) of the impulse process is calculated from the densities of the impulse occurence times. From the ACF of the impulse processes the PDS is obtained. Typical applications are electrical power converters and their electromagnetic compatibility
