Summary:
This paper presents an OpenCL framework for heterogeneous multicore architecture on an FPGA. The architecture consists of two Cortex-A9 hard-cores and four Nios-2 soft-cores, and our OpenCL framework performs load balancing on the two different kinds of cores. In the preliminary experiments, we have tested our OpenCL framework on their cores and confirmed the our framework works correctly.
