通信ソサイティでは、2024年 11 月にフラグシップ国際会議 IEICE ICETC 2024
を開催しました。本国際会議では、通信ソサイティが対象とするすべて
の研究分野に関する数多くの研究成果の発表が行われました。本国際会議での成果を世界に向けて広く公開することを目的として、IEICE
Transactions on Communications (Trans. Commun.) 及び IEICE
Communications Express (ComEX)
では、それぞれ2026年2月および2025年8月に小特集を発行します。本小特集では、IEICE ICETC
2024で発表された研究を基にした論文およびレター論文の投稿を期待しています。また、本国際会議で発表されていない内容の研究につきましても、本国際会議のトピックに関連する論文（基本的に通信ソサイエティの全分野を含む）も広く受け付けます。

The IEICE Transactions on Communications (Trans. Commun.) and the
IEICE Communications Express (ComEX) announce that they will publish
special issues on Emerging Communication Technologies in Conjunction
with Main Topics of IEICE ICETC 2024 in February 2026 and August 2025,
respectively.

The 5th IEICE-CS International Conference on Emerging Technologies for
Communications (IEICE ICETC 2024) has been held in Kitakyushu, JAPAN
from November 25th to 27th, 2024. These special issues strongly
encourage the presenters and co-authors at IEICE ICETC 2024 to submit
your papers to promote the publication of extended version of your
papers. The paper submission is not limited to the authors of IEICE
ICETC 2024.
