- CNR:Cloud Network Robotics
Brief Introduction
Introduction
Many Web and Cloud service technologies are being researched and developed as services over the network. On the other hand, many sensing technologies that collect human and environmental situations and communication robot technologies are also researched as real-world services.
Cloud services are most commonly used in the enterprise market at present. Those services are expected to expand to the consumer market by dealing with information gathered from the real world. To access these consumer cloud services based on cloud-type data coordination, we will use various kind of devices, not only conventional information equipment like a cellular phone but also communication robots, electric wheelchairs and electronic vehicles. For this reason, we established a new technical committee on Cloud Network Robotics to discuss broad-ranging topics including cloud services and communication media.
