Summary:
In this paper a novel fractional system including a memristor is introduced. Specifically, chaotic behaviors in the simplest fractional memristor-based system are shown. Stability analysis of the system equilibria and numerical integrations are carried out, with the aim to show that chaos can be found when the order of the derivative is 0.965, i.e., when the fractional-order of the system is as low as 2.895.
