Summary:
Synaptic devices and neuron circuits employing ferroelectric thin films are technically reviewed. Ferroelectric field-effect transistor and thin-film transistor can provide interesting synaptic behaviors including an adaptive-learning function by exploiting partial switching events for the ferroelectric polarization.
