Summary:
Decision making using the tug-of-war method is useful in terms of adaptation for hit probability in the multi-armed Bandit problem. We numerically implement decision making using chaotic waveforms of a semiconductor laser. We investigate the effect of the memory parameter of the tug-of-war method on the adaptation of decision making. We found that there is a trade-off between the adaptation and convergence for decision making when the memory parameter is changed.
