Summary:
Preliminary uncertainty analysis for a multifrequency coherent signal measurement technique is presented. An introductory description of a proposed new measurement signal, a multi-frequency coherent signal is given. This signal consists of a set of many independent analogue signals, which are coherent with a common clock signal. The multi-frequency coherent signal enables simultaneous, coherent reception of many analogue signals, appearing in a common measuring channel. The influence of noise, simultaneous presence of many coherent signals and A/D converter resolution on the measurement uncertainty is analyzed.
