Summary:
A physical mechanism of alternate motion of the double-headed processive motor is considered. Incorporating recent experimental observations, we introduce a model with load dependent transitions between states of motors. Our model explains the mechanism how randomly fluctuating motions can be converted into clocklike alternate motions. We investigate conditions under which the double-headed motor works as a collectively working processive motor.
