Summary:
We have devised a method for hypothesis testing for the major features of multivariate data on the basis of collective synchronization in a network of non-symmetrically coupled phase oscillators subject to a variant of Kuramoto’s dynamics. We show through numerical experiments that the non-symmetrical coupling allows testing whether given test vectors match the major features.
