Summary:
The digital spiking silicon neuron (DSSN) model is a qualitative model designed to be implemented efficiently using digital arithmetic circuits. In our previous study, we extended this model to support the neuronal activities of four cortical and thalamic neuronal classes. In this paper, we further extended this model to reproduce bursting activities of the ionic-conductance models of elliptic and parabolic bursters.
