Summary:
This paper studies pulse-coupled piecewise constant spiking oscillators (PWCSOs) by a master-slave coupling. Since the master PWCSO exhibits chaos, the slave one exhibits chaotic response. If the parameter varies, however, the behavior of the slave PWCSO can be like periodic trajectory in the phase plane. Using the derived 2-D return map, we shows bifurcation phenomena and clarify its mechanism.
