Summary:
We examine whether the dispersion management technique, which appeared for the first time in 1995 in the field of optical communications is applicable to discrete electrical transmission lines. We present numerical simulations showing that an appropriate concatenation of two types of electrical lines leads to interesting properties of pulse stability, which suggest the possibility of achieving highly stable pulse propagation in a discrete dispersionmanaged electrical transmission line.
