Published quarterly by the IEICE, NOLTA brings together pioneering research across mathematics, physics, engineering, information science, and emerging interdisciplinary fields. Its broad scope—from chaos, complex networks, and nonlinear dynamics to machine learning, communications, and biological systems—encourages ideas that transcend conventional disciplinary boundaries. With an emphasis on originality, scientific quality, and rapid dissemination, NOLTA provides an internationally accessible platform where innovative theories, rigorous methodologies, and transformative applications can reach a global research community and inspire the next generation of nonlinear science.   • From Aprl 1st, 2026, a new APC has been applied: IEICE and sister society members: JPY 132,000, Non-members: JPY 154,000
  • As of the end of July 2026, the advance publication service has started. The final author’s manuscript of each accepted paper will be presented during the period leading up to the official publication date.
  • From Vol. 17, No.4, Oct. 2026, the layout of papers, which was previously a single column, will be changed to a double-column format. Additionally, the fonts and other elements will also be changed. Also HTML version of papers will be published.

    • Submission of papers presented at the IEICE Technical Conference on Nonlinear Problems (NLP) is strongly encouraged, but presentation at NLP is not mandatory.
