Important Notice regarding NOLTA Journal submissions.

  1. APC revision
    Due to increased expenses (including NOLTA society operational costs and visibility measures such as SEO), we will revise the article processing charges (APCs) as follows:

    IEICE and sister society members: JPY 132,000
    Non-members: JPY 154,000

    For papers submitted to the regular section, the new APC will apply to manuscripts formally accepted via the submission system on or after April 1st, 2026 (Japan time). For special sections, please refer to the respective call for papers.

  2. Application of new Changes
    The revised APC, advance publication, and the new 2-column author template (Ver. 6.0) will apply starting from the following issue: Volume 17, Issue 4, 2026 (Published in October, 2026).

  3. Instructions for previous template (Ver. 5.1)
    For papers scheduled for publication in Volume 17, Issue 3, 2026 or earlier (in either regular or special sections), please continue to use the conventional 1-column author template (Ver. 5.1). If you require the Ver. 5.1 template, please contact our office at: nolta@ieice.org
