EMC Japan/APEMC Okinawa

Paper Submission

Those who wish to present their scientific work at EMC Japan/APEMC Okinawa should submit a document electronically in two-column and either one-page format for abstract submissions (for the Conference Proceedings only, Oral/Poster) or full-length format (2-4 pages) for paper submissions (for the Conference Proceedings, as well as IEEE Xplore and IEICE Proceedings Series, Oral/Poster). Both one-page abstracts and full-length papers must be submitted through the online Paper Submission System, which is available from this page.

For manuscript submissions, please use the paper template below. Please note that this template is based on the IEEE paper template, but we have made a minor modification. You must not put any text at the bottom of the first page, although the original IEEE template has a copyright notice there. The copyright notice will be later added on our end after the final manuscripts of the accepted papers have been submitted to EDAS.

For TeX users, you can use the standard IEEE conference LaTeX template, but please note that you must not put any text at the bottom of the first page, although the original IEEE template has a copyright notice there. The copyright notice will be later added on our end after the final manuscripts of the accepted papers have been submitted to EDAS.

Paper Submission Regulations and Agreements

Please carefully read the instructions below and strictly follow them.

1) Double-blind review

All papers for the Regular Sessions and Special Sessions will undergo a double-blind review process, meaning that both the authors and reviewers will remain anonymous during the paper evaluation process. You MUST adhere to the following guidelines to conceal your identity: (1) Eliminate all the author names, contact information, and affiliations from the entire manuscript. Individual persons' names, however, can appear in the cited references. (2) Passive voice sentences may help to keep the manuscript anonymous (e.g., "It has been shown that… [1]"). You should avoid using words such as "my" and "our". (3) Eliminate acknowledgements and references to funding sources. These can be added after the paper is accepted. (4) Do not contact our Technical Program Committee (TPC) members outside of your own organization to solicit input on your manuscript. Manuscripts that are not properly anonymized will not be considered for review.
To ensure your submission complies with these rules, please carefully review your manuscript yourself before submitting it.

2) Paper acceptance criteria

  • Importance of Topic: Does it have direct significance to the EMC community?
  • Technical Sophistication and Depth: Does it present information that is a significant contribution, advancement, application or refinement of the state of the art? Does it expose the reader to a higher knowledge level than currently available from other sources?
  • Readability, Clarity, and Presentation: Is the value of the submission clearly defined? Is the material written in clear and concise English, with topics presented in an organized and logical manner?
  • Novelty and Originality: Does it propose a new and unique concept or expand an existing premise from a unique point of view?
