2. Speakers Registration
The first author of each accepted paper must register for EMC Japan/APEMC Okinawa as a speaker by paying a non-refundable registration fee. Speakers must complete their registration by February 29, 2024, otherwise the papers with no registered speakers will be "excluded" from the conference's final program. If you are a speaker, enter the EDAS Paper ID(s) in the form of the registration system for your presentations.
3. Membership
Members of EMC Japan/APEMC Okinawa's sponsoring organizations (IEICE, IEEE, IEEJ, KIEES, and JIEP) can take advantage of selecting the discounted Member fee, as you can see in the table above. Please note that, if you select a member fee, you may be asked to show your member ID on your arrival at the registration desk at the venue.
4. Student Speakers/Participants
In order to select the discounted "Student" fee for your registration, you will need to be a student during the EMC Japan/APEMC Okinawa period from May 20 to 24, 2024. Also, if you select a student fee, you need to upload your student ID in the registration system.
5. Extra Presentations
There are two session types, Regular Sessions and Special Sessions. One registration covers "two (2)" presentations for Regular Session papers, while there is no maxmum limt for the number of Special Sessions papers. In case you have more than 2 papers accepted for Regular Sessions, please pay an additional 35,000 JPY for each of your extra presentations. The extra presentation fees will be automatically calculated in the registration system after you have entered the EDAS paper IDs in the form.
6. Welcome Reception
One registration covers participation in the Welcome Reception, which is scheduled to be held on the evening of May 21, 2024, with no additional fee required. To participate in this event, however, you need to check the box "Attend" in the registration system no later than 13:00 May 15, 2024 (Japan time, or UTC+9). In case you wish to cancel your application for Welcome Reception, please let us know no later than 13:00 May 15, 2024 (Japan time, or UTC+9) by email.
7. Banquet
The Banquet is scheduled to be held on the evening of May 22, 2024. The banquet fee is included in the Registration Fees for "Member" and "Non-Member" (see the table in "1"). To participate in this event, you need to check the box "Attend" in the registration system no later than 13:00 May 15, 2024 (Japan time, or UTC+9). For other participants, including accompanying persons, additional banquet tickets are available in the registration system (15,000 JPY per person). In case you wish to cancel your application for Banquet, please let us know no later than 13:00 May 15, 2024 (Japan time, or UTC+9) by email.
8. Accompanying Persons (Banquet Accompany)
Accompanying persons should be the session participant's family or relative, such as his/her spouse (husband or wife), life partner, sibling (brother or sister), child, etc., who will not attend the technical/scientific sessions, but will participate in "Banquet." Please note that Accompanying Persons cannot attend the technical/scientific sessions at EMC Japan/APEMC Okinawa. Those who are interested in participating in the technical/scientific sessions should register for the conference independently. Session participants can register their accompanying person(s) in the registration system until 13:00 May 15, 2024 (Japan time, or UTC+9).
9. Payment Method
The registration system accepts payments by "credit card" only.

10. Registration Desk
The Registration Desk will be open during the conference period. (Detailed time schedule for the desk will be updated later.)
11. Cancellation
Cancellation of registration will not be accepted after the completion of payment, and no refund will be made, no matter what the reason may be.
12. Privacy Policy
The privacy policy of EMC Japan/APEMC Okinawa conforms to "IEICE's Privacy Policy".
