Call for Papers

The APN Workshop invites researchers and practitioners to submit papers and posters in the field of All Photonic Networks. Authors are encouraged to submit their original work describing theoretical or experimental research and development.

All final submissions of accepted papers must be written in English with a maximum paper length of six (6) printed pages for regular papers and two (2) printed pages for poster papers, including figures and references.

Step 1. Conference template

Papers must be written in English using the IEEE two-column conference template (10-point font, A4 size) for LaTeX or Microsoft Word available at:

https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates

Please note that in addition to duly addressing the reviewers' comments, only minor changes to the title and/or abstract may be accepted to be agreed with the TPC Chairs. Changes to the author list are NOT allowed.

Please do not add any page numbering, header, or footer. No copyright notice is required as it is automatically added during the production process of the conference proceedings.

Step 2. Meta data

Prepare a meta data file for each paper using the CSV format available at:

Meta data must include:

  • title
  • abstract
  • author(s)
  • keyword(s)
  • affiliation(s)

Step 4. Author registration

To be published in the APN 2026 Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEICE Proceedings Series (Open Access), an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the author rate, and the paper must be presented at the conference by one registered co-author. One author registration is required for each paper. The registration instructions are available at the registration page:

Step 5. Submission of materials (deadline: April 15, 2026)

Regular and poster papers will be included in the APN 2026 Proceedings and will be published on IEICE Proceedings Series (Open Access) provided that it will be presented by an author of that paper at the conference. All copyrights of the manuscript, including rights for publishing in any media, are transferred to the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE).
