Scope & Objectives

The All Photonic Network (APN) aims not only at advancing optical transmission in communication networks but also at exploring new computing–communication infrastructures through opto-electronic convergence.

The APN Workshop provides a forum for high-quality discussions and presentation of research results, with the goal of fostering the creation of new interdisciplinary research areas.

Addressing optical communications & networks

Addressing optical communications, photonic integration, electronic circuits, AI accelerators, data centers, and system architecture.

Research advancement and dissemination

Encouraging submissions to IEICE Transactions and other peer-reviewed journals; publication support may be available.

International collaboration

Serving as a hub for joint research and exchange, particularly across the Asia-Pacific region, with the long-term vision of establishing an international workshop in Tokyo.
