Summary:
The security level of physical servers should be appropriately managed for constructing service chains at lower cost. In this paper, for a cost-effective service chain construction, we propose a security level management of physical servers. In this method, the security level of each physical server is determined by solving an optimization problem. From performance comparison, we find that our proposed method can construct service chains so as to minimize the total cost.
