Summary:
In this contribution, preliminary results related to the realization of a monitoring box based on reused smartdevices are presented. The aim is to exploit the sensors, the compuational capabilities and the communication boards of smartdevices which have reached their end of life to monitor several features of buildings and infrastructures, including vibrations, temperature, and electromagnetic flows. The communication links ensure also a real-time monitoring and flux of information with a cloud server.
