Summary:
This paper evaluates the UDP throughput performance of Wi-Fi HaLow (802.11ah) employing the 4 MHz channel bandwidth at Kagawa University campus. We performed two measurements (distance-dependent evaluation in a line-of-sight (LOS) environment and environ-ment that changes from LOS to non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environment). The short distance less than 100 m and LOS condition, the UDP throughput approximately 800 kbps can be achieved. In the final paper, we will further evaluates the UDP throughput in various environments and parameters to understand the Wi-Fi HaLow performance.
